A storytelling salon with a purpose.

Saved by a Story promotes the art of storytelling and the building of community for everyone. 100% of ticket sales go to Young Storytellers (that’s us!)

Saturday, May 4 at 7PM
Hosted by Jason and Kathy Katims
Private Residence, Pacific Palisades, 90272

Sometimes hilarious, often heart-wrenching, and always meaningful, each Saved by a Story event raises money to help people in under-served communities tell their stories.

Writers, storytellers and the occasional songwriter come together for an evening of telling, reading, singing, and sharing stories. Join us as we explore the theme of “Spring” and all it contains. Come to share. Come to listen. Just come.

Your ticket purchase supports Young Storytellers. We bring trained, background checked adult mentors into public school classrooms to work with students one-on-one as they imagine, develop, and write their own short screenplay. At the culmination of each term, professional actors perform the scripts – live! – at an assembly.

Our mission is to inspire children to discover the power of their own voice.
