For the fifth year in a row, Young Storytellers received a generous grant from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association in support of the Script to Stage Program.

Emma Stone accepted the award on behalf of Young Storytellers. During the course of the evening, celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Warren Beaty, Jamie Lee Curtis, Gina Rodriguez, Nate Parker, Hugh Grant and many more accepted checks from the HFPA for initiatives that included higher education, film preservation, training and mentoring, and the promotion of cultural exchange. By the time the final curtain bowed, over $2.4 million dollars had been given away to entertainment-related charities. Other grantees included our esteemed partners and friends at American Film Institute, Inner-City Arts, CalArts, Sundance Institute, Ghetto Film School, OUTFEST, among others.
