Introducing Young Storytellers’ new Executive Director

Young Storytellers has been conducting a thoughtful search for a new leader, and we are so pleased to announce Kevin Bolling as our Executive Director!

Kevin has spent more than 20 years leading nonprofit organizations, has extensive Executive Director experience, and has a deep passion for youth development. Most recently, he served for nearly 10 years as Executive Director of the Secular Student Alliance, a national organization empowering students to find their voices, build communities, and become advocates for change.

Before that, he served as the Director of Philanthropy at the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, a major LGBTQ arts advocacy organization, whose youth outreach work has moved thousands of hearts and minds across the US towards embracing LGBTQ equality. For 10 years, Kevin served as the Executive Director of the California Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Foundation, a charitable trust serving the healthcare needs of the industries’ largely immigrant workforce. His career has also included over 10 years of student association management and on-campus program development from Los Angeles to Boston.

Our Board of Directors and staff have all been impressed by his dedication to uplifting young people’s voices, fundraising experience, and love for his community. We are all inspired and invigorated to finish the year strong while we look towards the future. We are thrilled for you, our community, to meet him over the coming months.

We are also very thankful to Gisele Roberts for shepherding this organization as Interim Executive Director, and wish her the very best in her next chapter.
