Here, you'll get a chance to learn about our programs, what it takes to be a mentor and sign up for a school - all while connecting with staff and other members of the YS community.

We know Young Storytellers is even more fun with more friends. That's why we're also encouraging you to bring a guest who would love to join you as a mentor!

Hi, we're so excited for you to volunteer with us! Each of our volunteers goes through a mentor training to equip them to mentor students through a Young Storytellers program. The mentor training is a chance for you to get familiar with the goals and structure of the program you are going to volunteer in, and go over some best practices for working with the students in that program. All of the mentor trainings are held virtually over Zoom and hosted by members of the YS community that have volunteered with us before.
